William Pike Visit

We had the privilege of having William Pike at our school last Thursday. He spoke with the Year 7 and 8 students, and past and present William Pike Challenge students, about his journey, recent adventures and the importance of putting yourself out of your comfort zone. He attributed much of his successes in life to being prepared to step outside his comfort zone.

William also participated in some community service alongside this year’s William Pike Challenge Award students at the Waimate Community Gardens.

As well, a community event in the evening gave members of our community the opportunity to hear him speak. A big thankyou to the South Canterbury Rural Support Trust for inviting William and making this opportunity possible.
