In order to do this good communication is important. Therefore if you have any feedback – anything that’s on your mind – whether good or bad, compliments or criticisms, we want to hear it. Your insights are critically important, and we want to make sure we’re continually raising the bar.

To send us your feedback please email gen@waimate-high.school.nz , phone 03 6898920, or send us a letter to Waimate High School, Paul St Waimate, 7924.

Concerns and Complaints

We would much rather be hearing about small concerns before they become big ones. In the first instance, we request that you talk with the staff member concerned. If this remains unresolved or is of a serious nature, then we request that the concern or complaint be made formally, in writing to the appropriate senior member of staff. If you are unsure please address your concern or complaint to the school Principal. The link below will display our school’s complaints procedures. These procedures are in place to help ensure all complaints are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.

Our Kiwiana-themed Canteen is an important part of our school, supplying our students with a variety of tasty and healthy food and drink options.  Our Canteen made Pizzas are a firm favorite, along with WHS Chicken burgers. There is an order system in place to ensure the students don’t miss out on the lunch of their choice.

If there is something you would like to see on our Canteen Menu, Karyn is always happy to discuss this with you.

Karyn Booth is in her 10th year of looking after our school Canteen and is helped daily by her team of dedicated student helpers.
