Partnerships

The education of our young people is a partnership between school and home. We encourage the closest possible communication between parents or caregivers and our school. We appreciate being informed of problems at home that may affect the student’s learning or behaviour at school. Likewise, we will contact you when appropriate.

Reports

Term 1
A brief interim report is issued to indicate how the student has settled into the learning programme.

Term 2
Concerns and commendations letters are posted to parents and caregivers or junior students.  Detailed reports, reviewing student learning and recommending next steps are issued at the end of term. Interviews are held to enable parents and caregivers to discuss reports with the teachers. We encourage students to attend and participate in these discussions also.

Term 3
After mid-year exams, senior students are issued their second report for the year and this is followed by another opportunity for parent – teacher interviews. Concerns and commendations letters are posted to parents and caregivers of junior students.

Term 4
Junior students are issued with a second report on their progress, achievement and next learning steps.
